Accommodation
The Homestead at Lotus Creek is located less than 2 hours from Mackay, or 2hrs 30mins from Rockhampton. We have powered, non-powered and caravan sites ready for you to switch off and slow down. If you have a well behaved pet, you're welcome to bring them with you, just get in touch when booking!
Our creekside campsite is the perfect outback camping experience in Regional Queensland. Caravanners and campers can spend their days swimming, kayaking, fishing and wildlife spotting, and their evenings catching up around a campfire. Our newly renovated Homestead has an onsite cafe/restaurant, guest laundry, and shower/toilet facilities. We're not done yet either, stay tuned because there's more coming very soon.
The homestead is family-run, bringing the joy of rural living to visitors from near and far. We would love to welcome you to our hidden gem.
Creekside Unpowered Campsites
Our tranquil creekside sites are suitable for all camping from tents through to towable rigs. These premium sites each have a private space approx 3m wide between the site and creek for table and chairs, fires, etc. Due to being the best view in the house, these generally get snapped up quickly.
Powered Caravan Sites
One of the lucky ones who has a caravan? Our fully elevated, drive-through caravan sites include sullage, water and power. Not only will you be in a beautiful place, you'll have your creature comforts with you. Our powered sites are limited, so make sure you book in advance!
Unpowered Centre Sites
Our unpowered centre sites are suitable for all camping from tents through to towable rigs. If you're looking for a spot to park up with minimal fuss, but close to all of the amenities our Homestead offers, these spots are calling your name.
Tent Sites
Keeping it simple with a tent and a good attitude? Our tent sites fit a single vehicle, without all the fuss. Come on in, pitch your tent, grab your chair and crack a cold one. The sites may be unpowered, but there's plenty around to keep you entertained.
Standard Double
Our Standard Double suites are reverse cycle air-conditioned, ensuited cabins equipped with a king size bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a microwave. Each unit has a small front balcony and private parking for one vehicle. Linen supplied. Trundle bed and infants cot available on request. Free wifi available.
Wagyu Suite
Our Waygu Suite is our premium accommodation cabin, fully air-conditioned with beautifully designed fixtures. Ensuited cabins equipped with a king size bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a microwave. Each unit has a small front balcony and private parking for one vehicle. Linen supplied. Sleeps 2. Free wifi available.
Family Suite
Our Family Suites are reverse cycle airconditioned, ensuited cabins with a king size bed, a bunk bed, a mini kitchenette including a small fridge coffee facilities, and a microwave oven. All Linen supplied including towels in the spacious bathroom and an infants cot is available on request. Bunk beds left unmade. Each unit has a small front Balcony and private parking for one car. Unlimited free wifi available.
Family Villa
Our Family Villa is a 2 bedroom fully reverse cycle air-conditioned villa with an ensuite, full-sized kitchen, dining area and lounge. Small balcony out front. Queen bed in Master bedroom, triple bunk bed in the 2nd room. Call for additional occupants.
